Canadian Roadflix Prepares to Launch

Whether it's a campsite on top of a cliff on an island in the Bay of Fundy, a funky folk-art producing farm in Eastern Ontario, a Prince Edward Island lobster restaurant with an unexpected Thai influence (and dynamite blueberry shortcake!) or any of thousands of stops on the highways and back roads, Canada is overflowing with awe-inspiring sights, memorable adventures and wonderful people that slip below the radar of most visitors. We plan to showcase as many of those as we can. Please join us!

In the course of preparing for the official launch of Roadflix.ca - the Canadian Travel Video Magazine - we shot, edited and as in all things creative, mostly rejected a lot of short videos. Here are three that made the cut.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Montreal is an event that truly captures the multi-ethnic character and joie de vivre of one of North America's great cities.

We stopped in at a farm in Eastern Ontario to video some of the funky folk art made from the bits and pieces of architectural salvage.

As part of our on-going commitment to help those who might be less fortunate we also put together a video for the Old Brewery Mission. While not truly a "travel" piece, it does offer a glimpse of what early 20th Century vacations might have looked like.
